Fire Risk Assessment

Foresight Safety can carry out a detailed survey of your premises to identify potential fire hazards. The assessment will pinpoint fire safety risks and include practical recommendations to help ensure your building is safe and compliant. All findings and advice are compiled into a comprehensive written Fire Risk Assessment Report.

This report is prepared in accordance with the principles outlined in PAS 79, the recognised guidance document published by the British Standards Institution (BSI) for conducting fire risk assessments.

The assessment does have its practical boundaries. For instance, we do not perform in-depth engineering analysis or conduct technical testing of systems such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, or other fire protection installations. Instead, we carry out a visual review and, where necessary, may recommend further professional evaluation.

Our inspection of the building’s structure is limited to areas that are easily accessible. We do not engage in any invasive or destructive examination of the building’s materials or construction.

We may inspect spaces above suspended ceilings where safe access allows, but this will be done on a sample basis only, with the aim of checking for any potential fire-stopping issues or breaches in compartmentation.
