Risk Assessment
Workplace Risk Assessment
Risk assessment is a systematic process of identifying potential hazards in the workplace, determining who might be harmed and how, evaluating and controlling the risks, recording the findings and review and update the assessment regularly
In Guernsey, the Health and Safety at Work (General) (Guernsey) Ordinance, 1987, place a legal duty on employers to ensure the health and safety of their employees and others who may be affected by their work activities. Conducting risk assessments is a key component of fulfilling this duty.
